The state’s MassTrails Program will be awarding $5 million in matching grants for cities and towns to expand their off-road pathways for walking, bicycling, inline skating and people in wheelchairs. The grant application deadline for the first round of applications is February 1, 2019. The grants will generally range from $10,000-$100,000, with higher priority projects receiving grants up to $300,000.
