When leaves get into storm drains they can cause some major issues. Leaves can block storm drains, which can lead to flooding when it rains. If a large amount of leaves make it into our waterways, they can decay and create an environment that is harmful to animals and humans. You can help by not raking leaves into the street and either bagging them for yard waste collection (find out your schedule on the Waste Wizard) or adding them to your compost.
