Join the City of Somerville for the annual Somerville Bulb Blitz this November, and help prepare your neighborhood for a bright and colorful spring 2019! Residents are invited to join City staff to plant bulbs that will bloom in Spring 2019. Since the Bulb Blitz began in 2011, residents have planted nearly 15,000 bulbs citywide!

Naveo Credit Union employees dressed up in costumes on Wednesday, October 31 and raised $300 for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society during their Costumed for a Cure event. Naveo raised funds at their branches in less than a week and then matched those funds.

Treasurer Goldberg to Keynote Chamber dinner; Connolly to Receive Lifetime Achievement Award

Massachusetts State Treasurer and Receiver General Deborah B. Goldberg will deliver the keynote address at the Somerville Chamber of Commerce 72nd Annual Dinner & Powderhouse Awards on November 7th.    Jack Connolly of Wedgwood Crane & Connolly will be the recipient of the John W. Fitzgerald Lifetime Achievement Award and will be joined by Powderhouse Award recipients for business, economic and community excellence.
