Thomas Anthony Ferrara, of Tampa, Florida, formerly of Somerville, passed away at home on Tuesday, September 15, 2026. He was 62 years old.

Born and raised in Somerville, Tommy was the son of Janice (Wall) Ferrara and the late Anthony “Tony” Ferrara. He was the brother of the late David Ferrara and is survived by his sister, Theresa (Ferrara) Sciarappa, and her husband, Lenny, as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Throughout his life, Tommy traveled extensively, spending time in different places and working in the entertainment industry. He also spent time serving in the Navy. Tommy was an exceptionally talented artist and musician, with a natural creative ability and a distinctive artistic sensibility. His artistic talent was a special gift and an important part of who he was.

A private Funeral Mass will be held at St. Ann’s Church in Somerville, a longtime family parish.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Tommy’s memory may be made to Montachusett Veterans Outreach Center, which provides housing and support services to veterans.
