Don’t let the deadline pass you by. You need to register by Wednesday, October 17, to be eligible to vote on Tuesday, November 6. In Massachusetts you have the option of registering to vote online (if you have a Massachusetts license or ID), in person, or by mail. Registering to vote only takes a few minutes, so don’t wait until the last minute. Now is also a good time to make sure your census form is in. If you didn’t note in September’s primary and haven’t returned this year’s City census, you might be on the inactive voter list. Inactive voters have to take a few extra steps to cast a ballot, so save yourself some time on election day and make sure your census form is in. If you can’t find your form, you can get one on the Elections Department website.
