BOSTON BRUINS LEGEND VISITS SOMERVILLE ON HIS 90th BIRTHDAY

Former New York Ranger, Montreal Canadian and most important a Boston Bruin, the one and only Paul Ronty, a Boston legend visited Somerville to celebrate his 90th birthday with family and friends this past weekend.

Ronty started his National Hockey Leaguecareer with the Boston Bruins in 1947. He would also play for the New York Rangers and Montreal Canadiens. He would retire after the 1955 season. Three times during his career, he finished in the top six in league scoring.

Now at 90 years old he’s enjoying retirement and always comes back to Somerville for a visit.

  1. Paul Ronty and his family were class acts all the way. His son Bruce and his wife are the finest people. Sad to hear he is gone
