Mayor Ballantyne and City staff are gearing up for Somerville’s second annual Civic Day! Come learn about City services, local government, and enjoy free activities, food, and entertainment next Saturday, April 27, from noon to 4 p.m. at City Hall (93 Highland Ave.) and on the City Hall concourse.

Join dozens of City departments and School staff on the concourse for a variety of creative activities: Take a tour of City Hall and get a selfie at the Mayor’s podium. Cast your vote in a mock election. Bring the family to explore a Somerville Fire Department truck, face painting, games, music, and much more. Food truck and other free snacks, musical entertainment by Somerville High talents, and more rounds out the fun.

In the event of inclement weather, all outdoor activities will be moved inside to Somerville High School (81 Highland Ave.).
