Real Life Somerville Police Stories: Pentagrammaton ANTOINE (Medford Warrant)

On December 05, 2017, at approximately 15:40 hours, I, Officer Joseph Rivera, while in full uniform and working as East 4, was dispatched to the intersection of Memorial Road and Temple Street, both public ways within the City of Somerville, for a report of a motor vehicle accident.

On arrival, I met with a male, now known to me as Pentagram Antoine, and a female, now known to me as XXXXX. Both parties were standing next to a brown Ford Freestar and a gray Nissan Altima. The brown Ford appeared to have minor damage to the front driver’s side and the gray Nissan appeared to have heavy damage to the front driver’s side of the vehicle. XXXXX stated that while she was on Memorial Road she attempted to turn right onto Temple Street when Mr. Antoine turned left onto Memorial Road and struck her vehicle. I then spoke to Mr. Antoine who gave a similar account to what happened. After verifying the driver’s status of both individuals, via the CJIS web application, I learned that Mr. Antoine’s license was revoked. I also learned that Mr. Antoine had an active warrant that was issued by the Somerville District Court. Docket #1610CR002347.

After confirming the active warrant with dispatch, Mr. Antoine was placed under arrest. He was then transported to the station by Officer Justin Brown, via 200, and booked in the usual manner by the shift commander Sergeant Whalen.

I informed Mr. Antoine that I will be filing a criminal complaint with the Somerville District Court for operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license. Mr. Antoine was also issued MA uniform citation T0401192.

Respectfully submitted,

Officer Joseph Rivera #309

Somerville Police Department
