This past Thursday afternoon in Union Square, Somerville Mayor Joseph Curtatone and Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker announced that Somerville was awarded a $13 million grant from the MassWorks Program.
The grant is the largest individual award from the program and will go mostly toward crucial infrastructure improvements in Union Square.
