Michael VASQUEZ (Somerville Offense & NJ Warrant) Arrest

On the listed date and time, I, Officer Devin Schneider, was in full uniform and assigned to marked unit East-4 during the day shift. At approximately 1:33 pm I encountered the Defendant who was detained for questioning in regards to a report of a larceny.

The Defendant lied about his identity several times before I was able to identify him as Michael Vasquez through the Massachusetts Criminal Justice Information System Web database (CJISWeb.) CJISWeb revealed that Mr. Vasquez had a warrant with a wanting agency of Mercer County Sheriff’s Office in Trenton New Jersey with full extradition (OCA-1065MER15.) The warrant was confirmed through Somerville Dispatch. Somerville Dispatch contacted the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office who confirmed the extradition. Mr.Vasquez was transported by Officer Ashley Catatao in prisoner transport Unit-200 to the Somerville Police Station, where he was booked in the usual manner by Lieutenant Mulcahy.
