This past Saturday afternoon The management of Clarendon Hill Towers that’s located at 1366 Broadway in Somerville held their annual 2015 residence tenant barbecue.

Hundreds of residence and tenants attended the event with a surprise visit by an Elvis look-alike singing the best of Elvis Presley tunes.

Clarendon Hill Towers is located off of the scenic Alewife Brook Parkway in Somerville, Massachusetts. The rehabilitation of this 501 unit affordable housing community has grown out of the combined efforts of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Massachusetts Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD), MassHousing, the City of Somerville, the Clarendon Hill Towers Tenants Association (CHTTA), and Connolly and Partners, LLC.
Minutes from both downtown Boston and nearby Cambridge, Clarendon Hill Towers offers a residential setting with easy access to an exciting metropolis. The site was specifically designed to provide a sense of community for the people who live here. It feels more like a vertical village than a group of high-rise apartment buildings.
At Clarendon Hill Towers, the word “home” includes an onsite café, lending library, computer learning center, playground, and fitness center. Within a few steps of your front door, there is a public transportation terminal, full-service grocery store, youth center, park with walking trails, flower market, hair salon, retail shops, and a variety of quick service restaurants. Our Resident Services team seeks to foster community connections, facilitate access to resources, and provide opportunities for personal growth to residents. The development of a monthly activities calendar has helped to strengthen neighborhood ties, making Clarendon Hill Towers a more vibrant and exciting place to live.
