Dear Billy T and Somerville/Medford News Weekly Speakup Line,

Billy please help this city I grew up in. Please run for mayor again it’s terrible what they have done to the city streets to accommodate bikers.

I as a kid navigated this city as well as surrounding cities I did not need bike lanes all they do is make it more difficult for excise paying tax vehicles to navigate the city they have ruined parking in Somerville. I still own two houses in Somerville and live in Tewksbury now and dread having to come down to the city to take care of the lawns or issues in the property because it’s ridiculous with the 20ft sidewalks.

I cannot get around the city with my Toyota Tundra and navigate these roads never mind the emergency vehicles the Tauro’s have always been a fixture in our community my dad was great friends with Walter he sold insurance and have many vehicles
fixed by him.

My girlfriend’s mom and grandmother have rented affordable apartments off your dad back in the day being single moms. You guys ran a tow business in the city to help the city you guys ran a nice Limo business for a lot of Somerville high to have rides to the prom to and from the prom safely.

You guys ran a great body shop in the city and your family was always ready to help a member of the Somerville community your family has always been great to many people of this city I see the things you also do for our seniors and VETERANS thank you for taking care of them because the hierarchy of this city don’t care about nobody but their greedy little selves.

This city used to be such a great city we had parks and recreation as kids played at the parks the city would deliver lunches to the parks every day it was great Billy Joyce would bring ice creams to the parks boy what it was like to be a little boy growing up in the great city of Somerville used to be.

Please Billy bring it back help these business it seems like Mt.Vernon has been around longer than the city has these people running have no idea what a great city Somerville was they are ruining our city! Please Help!

Sorry it is so long I am so frustrated how shitty this city has become and my punctuation sucks also so feel free to clean it up and use it I have been a life long resident until 2012 I had to get out I drove through the other night and it sucked trying to get from P&k deli on beacon st to Quincy St to get to Mystic Ave it was so brutal this city was never like this please help us if you need help holding signs please reach out
