Obituary

Dorothy F. (DiTullio) Capone- Of Woburn, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at the age of 94.

Dorothy was born in Medford to the late Silvio and Celia (DiGirolamo) DiTullio. She was a lifelong resident of Woburn and dedicated much of her time to enriching the lives of others. Dorothy’s vibrant spirit was evident in all she did, whether it was volunteering at the Woburn Senior Center, supporting the Sons of Italy, or actively participating in the Red Hats Club. She served as a board member of the Senior Center for many years and cherished the opportunity to make a difference in her community.

For many years, she greatly enjoyed staying at the family cottage on Sagamore Beach during the summer months, visiting with family and friends.

Her love for music was shared with the St. Barbara and St. Eulalia Church choirs, where her voice added warmth and joy. Dorothy’s passion for knitting was well-known, and she was gifted at creating beautiful pieces with her hands.

Above all, Dorothy’s greatest love was for her family, particularly her grandchildren. Their presence always brought a smile to her face and filled her heart with pride.

Beloved wife of the late William R. Capone. Devoted mother of Tracy Capone of Lakeville, Cheryl Cahill and her husband Michael of Tewksbury, and Leslie Adrian and her husband Stephen of Goodyear, AZ. Cherished grandmother of Rachel Pare and her husband Dustin, Stevie Ray Adrian, Meredith Cahill, Matthew Cahill, and Maeve Cahill. Dear sister of the late Joseph DiTullio.

A private graveside service was held.
