Obituary
Ellen T. Brogna-Winter, 71, of Millbury, MA formerly of Somerville, MA, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on January 14th, 2025, after a courageous battle with emphysema.
Ellen was the loving wife of late Howard T. Winter of Millbury, formerly of Somerville. Daughter of the late Vincent Brogna and Lorraine Barrett-Brogna of Somerville. Sister of the late Ralph and James Brogna of Somerville and Sheila Brown of Alabama.
Ellen is survived by her brother Vincent Brogna of Boston, Angelina Piacentini of Webster, Mary LaVoie of Malden, Francis Brogna of Somerville, Marilyn Silverman and her husband William of Somerville, Donna Brogna of Medford, Daniel Brogna and his wife Joyce of Somerville, and Michael Brogna of Somerville. Also survived by many loving nieces/nephews, great nieces/nephews, great-great nieces/nephews, and cousins.
Ellen enjoyed going to the theatre to see plays and musicals. She also loved going to Priscilla Beach in Plymouth with her husband and family. She will be missed dearly.
In keeping with Ellen’s wishes, services will be private.
