Evans, Hazel F. (Cottam) of Somerville, September 5, 2021, at age 80.
Devoted wife of the late Thomas R. Evans Sr. Loving mother of Brian Evans and Michael Evans. Beloved stepmother of Linda Evans, Scott Evans, Michelle Evans, Thomas Evans Jr., Robert Evans, Richard Evans and the late Mark Evans, David Evans, Kevin Evans and Ann Evans. Also survived by her sister Marlene Rodgers, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many other loving relatives and friends.
Visiting hours at the Rogers Funeral Home, 380 Cambridge Street in Cambridge on Monday September 13, 2021, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am. Prayer service to follow in the funeral home.
Interment will be at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Avenue, in Bourne, MA at 2:15 pm.
Anyone wishing to attend the burial is asked to meet just inside the main gate of the cemetery at 2:00 pm.
Hazel was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran, as well as a longtime member of many of the local Military Posts in Somerville and Cambridge.
Mrs Evans was a wonderful and nice person. Raising all her children with her Beloved Tom Evans.
