MEDFORD – Mayor Breanna Lungo-Koehn announced today the departure of current Chief of Staff David Rodrigues from his post to serve as Associate Vice President, Public Policy and Advocacy for the New England Aquarium. Update on Renovations at Medford Fire Stations

Beginning in February 2021, the City has been conducting upgrades and repairs at all of Medford’s fire stations. In July, we issued a Request for Qualifications to begin the process of design feasibility for a new or renovated Headquarters. Last week, contractors began a roof replacement project at Engine 6 on Ames St., which marks the latest in a series of ongoing renovations. Somerville Early Voting Days and Times

Early voting before the Tuesday, September 14 preliminary election starts on Tuesday, September 7, and ends on Friday, September 10. Medford to Hold Remembrance Ceremony on 20th Anniversary of September 11

Community members invited to attend annual remembrance ceremony outside of City Hall on 9/11 at 8:30am

MEDFORD – The City of Medford will hold a remembrance ceremony for victims of 9/11 on Saturday, September 11th at 8:30am. The ceremony will be held outside of City Hall and will include a brief speaking agenda, Honor Guards from the Medford Police and Fire Departments, and a moment of silence at 8:46am coinciding with the time that Flight 11 struck the North Tower of the World Trade Center.
