After an extensive CID investigation, 3 adult males have been arrested in connection to a shooting that occurred on 9/8 in the area of 460 – 480 Mystic Ave. One individual was arrested on two counts of armed assault to murder; firearm, discharge within 500 ft. of building; and firearm, carry with ammunition. This is a particularly difficult 9/11, both because of the 20th anniversary as well as the recent events in Afghanistan. Today I honor the selfless service of our first responders and service members who rush towards danger even when it is not always appreciated by everyone.
