Loving son of the late Maria de Lourdes (de Melo) and Jose P. Pereira.
Beloved Brother of Luciana Lima and her late husband Armindo, Zita Baldwin, Denise Barker and her husband Michael. Cherished uncle of Alison, Stephen, Kristyn, Lauren, Destini, Brandilynn, Michael and Sean. Devoted significant other of Sonia Valada. Adored Stepfather of Nathan Valada. Also survived by many other loving relatives and friends.
Visiting hours at Rogers & Hutchins Funeral Home, 292 Massachusetts Avenue, in Arlington on Monday, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
Due to COVID-19 and Massachusetts Tracing Guidelines, the funeral home is limited to 32 people inside the funeral home and a mask must be worn at all times, over both nose and mouth.
The funeral home and the family are asking those who plan to attend to please come in, maintain social distancing guidelines, pay your condolences and then exit to make it possible for others to do the same.
A Funeral mass will follow at St. Agnes Church, 51 Medford Street, in Arlington at 11:30 am.
Everyone attending church must be registered. You may register at the funeral home on Monday morning during the visitation.
If you are not attending the visitation, but wish to go to the funeral mass, please email the names and phone numbers of those people attending to firstname.lastname@example.org by 6:00 pm on Sunday, December 20, 2020.
Due to Covid – 19, Massachusetts Tracing Guidelines and the Guidelines of the Archdiocese of Boston, seating is limited to 95 people in the church.
Social distancing must be observed, and a mask must be worn at all times.
Interment will be at the Calvary Cemetery in Winchester.
