Dear Billy T and Somerville/Medford News Weekly Speakup Line,

Its pretty bad when the Emporer decides to compete with Media Marty for coverage every week. Sadly its at the expense of every business and property owner in Somerville. We wait for phase 3 when surrounding communities are supporting their small businesses open and slowly operating to ensure everyones safety and success.

Not in Somerville we wait because the egotistic emporer needs to compete with Marty and Governor Charlie Baker who has done a great job at opening the State, cities and towns in a manner for safety and review for possible changes if needed.

I think i figured it out the Emporer and Media Marty are both posturing for a run against Lt. Polito.

Sadly there is carnage with his plan just look at lower Broadway East Somerville in donut boy’s ward. Lower Bway in the 80s area there are 4 stores out of six closed. So much for all the store front money, loss of taxes and revenue. Forget the property owner who will remain paying full taxes and other fees. They are screwed never able to recover the losses associated with poor decisions and poor management by the emporer.

Millions of dollars invested in the East end and its certainlly not paying off today.
It is time for property owners not only to wake up but get involved participate in local elections where it all starts.

Elect people who will listen, ensure real transparency and participation in the decisions that affect our neighborhoods.
I dont think there is anyone that wilm disagree that Somerville physically, politically and socially is in the worse shape since when it was undesirable to live here by others.

Wake up do your homework lets get this city back on track get rid of those that do not reflect the true community as a whole.

  1. I agree. I believe he is lining up a run for governor. That being said, he is probably also setting up buy yourself for any property that he and his cronies can flip to condos like Ball Sq. and I believe Davis as well! He will hurt anyone to line his filthy pockets!

  2. I agree with you… We need to replace our emperor and his joker’s (city councilors), we need to mandate that if you work for the city, you must live in the city.

    1. I think just getting them to work for the city would be a big plus. These people I don’t even want them in this state. Another big improvement would be to not have a mayor. In my 70 plus years here we always had some complaints, but at the same time they did some good. Obviously that’s gone.
