“ City Councilors meeting minutes defund housing police”

Matt McLaughlin and Jesse Clingon Councillor of Ward 4 place a motion item 18 to eliminate the Somerville Housing Police at the June 11 th meeting. While the guns at the Mystics have been firing since early last year. Five people shot in just the last month. Don’t forget the random shootings in the adjacent streets around the development.

What does it take to get it through their heads that the hard working families living here deserve to be safe. The Mayor who lives in safe confines in Ten Hills is worried. Keep in mind he has an officer with him frequently and there is a shot spotter near his home.

While black lives matter and polygamist are looking for more rights innocent peoples lives are at risk due to inept representation by our elected officials.

It is time to DEFUND CITY HALL.
