After weeks on the run, the Davis Square bank robbery suspect has been arrested in Providence RI by Providence and Somerville Police Departments and FBI Agents early Thursday morning.
The FBI Boston Violent Crimes Task Force and the City of Somerville were offering a reward of up to $20,000 for information leading to the identification and arrest of a suspect in connection with the bank robbery in Davis Square.
On Wednesday, May 1, at approximately 9:57 a.m., the unknown male subject entered Middlesex Federal Savings Bank, 1 College Ave., and allegedly committed an armed robbery while firing gunshots in the bank as well as at a police officer.
