A ribbon cutting took place at the Somerville Courthouse that’s located on Middlesex Avenue this past Monday morning celebrating the reopening of its main entrance doors.

The courthouse front main entrance doors have been closed for over 40 years.

First Justice Maurice R. Flynn III was instrumental in leading the charge as the one who fought for over 13 years to get them reopened.

This Somerville Courthouse serves Medford and Somerville.
