Somerville Remembering Daniel (Dan) Francis Higgins SR

HIGGINS Daniel (Dan) Francis, Sr. 63 yrs. old, passed away peacefully due to natural causes on Nov 6. 2017 with his three children by his side.

He was born on March 7th, 1954 to William T. Higgins Sr. and Clara Censullo in Cambridge MA. Dan was an extraordinarily, multi-talented musician, a blues man to his core with a singing voice that moved the soul.

He was a true friend that wore his heart on his sleeve and was always willing to help those in need. Dan was a patriot to the United States with a deep rooted belief in God and country as a die-hard Patriots, Celtics, Red Sox, and Bruins fan.

He was a strong believer in God and spoke of going home in his last days. We know he is singing, smiling, and free.

Dan is survived by his ex-wife and friend Sarah Allen, his children: Jessica Lea Aguilar-Flores, Miranda Rose Delgado, and Daniel Francis Higgins Jr, his siblings: William T Higgins Jr., Michael Higgins, John Higgins, Elizabeth Pellicchia and Sean Higgins, as well as his grandchildren: Israel Aguilar-Flores, Abigail Aguilar- Flores, and Pepper Rose Delgado.

Celebration Of Life will be held Nov 26th 2017 @ 3:00 pm at the Mac’s Vet’s Club, in Eugene OR. All those that loved him are welcome to attend. Arrangements by Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel, Cottage Grove, OR.

There will be a celebration of life held at a later date to be announced in the Somerville news weekly
