Letter to the Editor: Somerville Potential Ward 4 Candidate Omar requests residency waiver in Revere

.

Check out this communication from the Mayor of Revere requesting a temporary residency waiver for Omar Boukili for the position of Chief Administrative Officer of Revere who lives in Somerville but will be moving soon to Revere. I think??
Why is this guy Omar’s name being tossed around up at City Hall by the administration who are trying to push him into running for the Ward 4 Alderman seat?
Here is a very straightforward video about Omar asking for a residency waiver in June of 2016.
The mayor of Revere insisted that he is actively looking for housing but can’t find it in this hot market.
The Revere mayor also guaranteed that he would be living in Revere by next June and now It’s almost April.

  1. Ward 4 is in desperate need of solid leadership to bring it to its fullest potential. I don’t see a wet-behind-the-ears Jesse Clingan as the visionary for that job. Omar all the way for me.

  2. What a shock. The Mayor finds out Jesse isn’t a “yes” man and he goes right to work doing underhanded stuff. Let’s get Omar a waiver at his job in Revere so he can run for elected office in Somerville. Nothing is out of bounds for this tool, and he’s done it before in Ward 4. Laughable.
