Lights, Camera, Action! Franki Shaw Movie Filming in Somerville

Franki Shaw, the famous film maker is filming a movie in the Somerville area. The movie is comedy pilot being filmed for Showtime that will air in the spring.

Film crews were seen setting up early Tuesday morning around Union Square with tents, wardrobe trailers and lighting on both sides of the street.

Franki Shaw productions has also short term leased the former Pat’s Towing yard property that’s located at 200 McGrath Highway as a base to stage the movie out of as well as temporarily while filming the movie, store all the movie equipment and trailers.
