On Thursday, July 14th, 2016, I, Officer Devin Schneider, was in full uniform assigned to the Assembly Row unit in marked cruiser 660. The following report is a summary of the events that I witnessed, as they pertain to incident #16042882:
At approximately 6:45 pm I was on patrol with Officer Tyler Sousa, when we received a report from Home Depot Loss Prevention XXXXX that he had several known shoplifters in his store. As Officer Sousa and I made our way to Home Depot, XXXXX updated us that one of the group of suspected shoplifters had selected a water heater and placed it on a flat-bed cart. Officer Sousa and I arrived in the Home Depot parking lot a short time later.
