Somerville’s debt exclusion question

At its regular July meeting, the Somerville Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors will consider taking a position on the City’s debt exclusion question for a new Somerville High School.

The ballot question to be put before Somerville voters on November 8th asks:

“Shall the City of Somerville be allowed to exempt from the provisions of proposition two and one-half, so called, the amounts required to pay for the bond(s) issued in order to design, engineer, construct, and equip the new Somerville High School.”
