Meet this week’s “Special Person of the Week Eileen O’Connor
Eileen O’Connor grew up in Ball Square in Somerville where she was lucky to have maintained lifelong friendships.
She spent summers attending Somerville Recreation at the Brown School as a child where she mastered the skills of jacks and dodgeball.
Eileen was involved with Pop Warner Cheerleading for several years and eventually went on coach C Team Girls for a year.
She attended St. Clements School for 12 years and today she’s a paralegal who has been legal assisting for over 25 years.
After graduating from Katharine Gibbs School and landing a pretty good job with F. Lee Bailey, Esq., Eileen attended Suffolk University part time and majored in Sociology/Criminology and Law.
She also earned a brown belt in karate at Fred Villari Studios in Union Square while she still visits and supports her favorite local Somerville parish, eateries, bakeries and local Somerville pubs still to date.
Our hats are off to her true Somerville spirit!
We here at the Somerville News Weekly salute you for everything that you do to make Somerville a better place.
Congratulations!
