What: “Rally Against Displacement”
Who: Union United Coalition
When: Friday, April 1st from 3:00-5:00PM
Where: Union Square Plaza
With extensive development in the works and a white-hot speculative property market, displacement of residents and businesses is an urgent issue in Union Square and across Somerville. Responsive and responsible development can help mitigate displacement if all stakeholders have a voice in the process.
Union United members will share their stories of displacement as well as concrete ways the community and city can work together to support development without displacement. Please join us to stand together in solidarity to protect our neighbors and the city we love and share our story.
