If you’re interested in open space and places for recreation, mark your calendar to attend one of two upcoming presentations and discussions on the City’s Athletic Fields Master Planning process.

 City park planners, Recreation staff, and SomerStat analysts will share data on permitted field usage citywide, discuss factors that guide field planning and maintenance, and lay out recommendations for field improvements and maintenance investments. A Q&A will follow and community members are invited to provide feedback. To enable more residents to participate, the same meeting will be held twice on different dates:
Wed., March 9, 6:30 to 8 p.m. at East Somerville Community School cafeteria, 50 Cross St.
Tues., March 15, 6:30 to 8 p.m. at West Somerville Neighborhood School cafeteria, 177 Powderhouse Blvd.
