Somerville Seniors Celebrate Valentine’s Day Party on the Water

Red was the official color of the day as over one hundred Somerville seniors of the Somerville Council on Aging celebrated a pre-Saint Valentines Day Party at Somerville’s Winter Hill Yacht Club this past Thursday afternoon.
Somerville Mayor Joseph Curtatone spent the day with the seniors greeting and singing along with them and having a good time.
A full dinner was followed by live entertainment, raffles and plenty of dancing with a live performance by Powers Music School of Belmont with faculty member Tev Stevig (tenor Banjo/steel guitar), and guest artist Joe Kessler (violin).
