Somerville residents were invited to the 2016 Somerville Inauguration celebration festivities that took place this past Monday evening. 
The Inauguration of Somerville’s elected officials who got sworn into office for their two-year terms in office was executed by Somerville Justice Paul Yee and it was followed by addresses from the Mayor, President of the Board of Alderman, and Chair of the School Committee. 
The Inauguration began at 6 p.m. in the Somerville High School Auditorium and was immediately followed by a reception and party at the Somerville Holiday Inn.
