Somerville Speakup Line:Let Your Voices Be Heard Tell Them NO to Both Transfer Fee and First Right of Refusal.

Dear Billy T and Somerville Speakup Line,

Hot off the press the first banner! Just wanted to get the word out.  It is my understanding the Alderman from Ward 5 is on a mission to fast track the transfer fee.

Property owners need to contact every elected official and tell them NO more fees or taxes.  Do not to interfere in  the privacy of selling and owning a property.

We did not cause the gentrification, condo conversion and development problems.    And as a result some of our elected officials want to penalize us go resolve something that they created.

I heard a lot about transparency from many however not everyone is practicing what they preach.  Let your voices be heard  tell them NO to both the Transfer Fee and the First right of refusal.

  1. Not to my surprise. I met hi once and knew he was bad news for this city. This is only one of the many bad ideas he has coming. Private property eminent domain is also high on his list. And who knows what else. But then we had no real choices in theblast election.
