Cinema Somerville is tonight, Thursday July 16th, at the Somerville Community Growing Center (22 Vinal Ave). We’ll be showing The Boy in the Plastic Bubble with a young John Travolta (1976). The Boy in the Plastic Bubble is a 1976 made-for-TV movie inspired by the lives of David Vetter and Ted DeVita, who lacked effective immune systems.
Bring your chairs and blankets for the BYOPicnic & film screening. Doors open at 7:30 pm, film at 8:30 pm. Baked goods and popcorn will be available! Donations to the Somerville Community Growing Center are much appreciated!
Future film dates will continue to be outdoors on Wednesdays: 7/22 Return of Kung Fu Dragon; 7/29 Charlie Chaplin Shorts.
Call 617.628.8826 with any questions!
