Join the City of Somerville, the Somerville Arts Council and Knucklebones for the City’s first annual Somerville Weekend of Play this weekend, May 17 & 18! The weekend’s events include:

Porchfest
Saturday, May 17, 12 – 6 p.m.
· Musicians and bands – ranging from Bollywood funk, cosmic Americana, killer blues, Moroccan, Balkan, gospel, American space rock and clawhammer banjo – will serenade passersby from porches throughout Somerville.

Activities in Somerville Parks
Saturday, May 17 (afternoon)
· Parkour: Baxter Park (Assembly Square waterfront). 2 – 4 p.m.
· Inflatable Go Cart course, Knucklebones activities: Morse-Kelley Playground (Craigie Street / Summer Street). 12 – 4 p.m.
· Children’s sing-a-long with Liza Kitchell: Morse-Kelley Playground. 2 – 3 p.m.
· Children’s sing-a-long with Jeremy Lyons: Hodgkins-Curtin Playground (Holland Street). 2- 3 p.m.
· Imagination Playground: Lexington Park (Lexington Ave. / Commnity Path). 2 – 4 p.m.

Sunday, May 18 (afternoon)
· SportsFort, Children’s Playspace, Knucklebones activities: Hodgkins Park. 12 – 4 p.m.
· Inflatable Go Cart course, Knucklebones activities: Morse-Kelley Playground. 12 – 4 p.m.
· Parkour: Nathan Tufts Park (Powder House Rotary). 3 – 4:30 p.m.
· Public Ice Skating: Veterans Memorial Rink (Somerville Ave.), 12 – 1:50 p.m.
