With all the snow, it seems like gardening weather will never get here, but planting season is right around the
corner. While green thumbed residents across the City get their flower boxes, raised beds, and community plots ready, we’re looking for our next crop of Urban Ag Ambassadors.

We’ve partnered with Green City Growers to train 20 residents in urban growing techniques in exchange for 30 hours of volunteer service in garden projects across the City. If you’re interested in learning how to start your own urban garden applications for the ambassador program are available at all Somerville Public Library branches and by emailing urbanagambassadors@gmail.com.
