Obituary

Kourtney E. McLean – Of Reading, formerly of Somerville, passed away on Tuesday, August 19th at the age of 34.

Born in Malden and raised in Somerville and Arlington, Kourtney was the beloved daughter of Anne (Page) McLean and the late John McLean.

Kourtney had a passion for all things fashion and beauty. She was always stylish, keeping up with the latest trends and inspiring those around her with her creativity and flair. Beyond her sense of style, Kourtney’s greatest joy was her family—especially her cherished daughter, Shaylyn, who was the light of her life. The bond they shared was unbreakable, and Kourtney’s love for Shaylyn was deeper than words could ever express.

Kourtney also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, whether it was sharing her infectious laughter, a meal, or just each other’s company. A true movie lover, she was always ready to relax and watch a film, especially if it was a Disney classic. Wherever Kourtney was, a movie reference or quote was never far behind.

Kourtney leaves behind her devoted daughter, Shaylyn Gerrin; her loving mother, Anne (Page) McLean; and her cherished siblings, Kaitlyn McLean, Kristyn McLean, and Sean McLean. She was a proud and loving aunt to Kyleigh, Kierra, Connor, Payton, and Emilia. She will be dearly missed by her grandmother, Lynne (Seaboyer) Page, and remembered with love by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was predeceased by her father, John McLean; her grandparents, Thomas Page, George McLean, and Catherine (Sullivan) McLean.

Calling hours will be held in the George L. Doherty Funeral Home 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) Somerville on Thursday, August 28th from 5:00PM to 7:00PM.

A prayer service will be conducted in the funeral home at 6:30PM.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Interment will be private.
