Congratulations, Detective Sergeant Marc Gigante!

Please join us in congratulating Sergeant Marc Gigante as he completes his remarkable 28-year career with the Medford Police Department today.

Sergeant Gigante began his service on May 18, 1997, and was promoted to Sergeant on October 17, 2021. Over the years, he has served with dedication as a patrol officer, detective, and detective sergeant. As a long-time firearms instructor, Marc played a pivotal role in modernizing and advancing our department’s firearms training.

Today, we celebrate not only his retirement but also the legacy he leaves behind—one filled with professionalism, leadership, and countless great memories.

We wish Sergeant Gigante all the best in his next chapter and thank him for his unwavering service to our department and the City of Medford.
