Somerville Class of 2025 Invited to Apply for Municipal Scholarship Opportunity

Seven scholarships available to Somerville residents currently graduating in the Class of 2025

Application Period closes March 31, 2025

SOMERVILLE– Mayor Katjana Ballantyne and the City of Somerville Municipal Scholarship Committee are
reminding Somerville residents graduating high school in 2025 to apply now for seven municipal scholarship opportunities. Selected applicants will receive $1,000 to help with post-secondary education expenses.

To qualify for consideration, students must be in high school, a resident of the City of Somerville
at the time the financial aid is awarded, and be accepted to an accredited post-secondary institution.

To apply, students can complete a profile and answer three short essay questions here:
