Obituary
David W. LaCroix, a lifelong Somerville resident, passed away surrounded by his family on December 31, 2024, he was 60. Born and raised in Somerville he was the son of the late Marion (Richardson) and Sylvio J. LaCroix, Sr.
David was a passionate and devoted fan of the Boston Bruins, like many in his family. He had a great love of all sports and was an avid collector of baseball cards and sports memorabilia. He enjoyed time spent with his family, especially at home watching all the games.
He is the devoted father of Valerie Grams and her husband Skye of Wilmington and Jason LaCroix of Somerville and cherished grandfather of Allie Grams. Dear brother of Paula Wing and her husband Ronald of Burlington, Maryann Jerrier of Somerville, Shirley Gens and her husband Michael of Jaffery, NH, Paul LaCroix and his wife Sandra of Manchester, NH, Michael LaCroix of Somerville and the late Wallace, Sylvio, Jr., Rosemary Doucette and Richard LaCroix. David is also survived by many loved nieces and nephews.
Calling Hours will be held in the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) Somerville on Monday, January 6th from 4:00PM to 7:00PM. Relatives and friends invited to attend. Burial will be private.
