Dear Somerville/Medford News Weekly Speakup Line,
I am deeply concerned of what’s going on at the Southern Middlesex Registry of Deeds of Middlesex County that’s located in Cambridge MA under the current registrar Maria Curtatone.
She has been there for over 12 years in office and has not accomplished a thing, but instead she has made it miserable for people who work there and has also created an 18 year backlog in all recordings. That’s what happens when you run unopposed for 12 years. She thinks that her job that it’s a lifetime appointment! Not! 
Nepotism is running unadulterated around here, from personal friends of the Register, friends of her children, sister in laws working together, children of employees being hired, all with the intent of power and control…..people she hires are obligated to do her bidding and personal errands……and again I will strongly reiterate that she has not hired one person of color in the 12 years she has been Register….she is a racist, doesn’t like senior citizens and has a prejudice against the handicapped. Those are fucking facts.
All she and her minions do in here is break State and Federal Labor Law and policies…..everyday this occurs, not to mention the many properties that have yet to be fully processed, even though the Commonwealth has received payments for said properties in the expectation that their properties be fully processed.
Who is going to stop all this……the place is a very hostile work environment and the Register likes it this way…..
