Prepare for Future Snowfall this Winter
This week’s snowfall brought out the shovels. Some reminders for shoveling as we continue through the Winter season:

Sidewalks must be cleared to the pavement within 6 daylight hours after snow stops falling.
Per state ADA requirements and City ordinance, sidewalks must be shoveled to a minimum of 36 inches wide.
Seniors and homeowners with disabilities can apply for assistance through our Teen Snow Shoveling Program.
Be sure to salt, sand, or shovel again as needed to prevent slipping as snow melts and refreezes to ice.
