Medford Unarmed Bank Robbery

At approximately 8:40am on Friday September 9, 2022 the Medford Police responded to the Brookline Bank at 201 Salem St. Medford, Ma for a bank robbery. The Suspect is a black male who is approximately 5’5” – 5’ 7” tall, medium build, wearing a dark blue hooded sweat shirt with the hood pulled up and covering his forehead to his eyes. He also wore a light blue medical type mask to help conceal his identity. We believe he is approximately 50 – 57 years old. No weapon was shown or implied.

The suspect entered the bank and handed a teller a note indicating that he was robbing the bank. After the robbery, he fled on foot west on Salem St. It is unknown if he had a motor vehicle or a partner waiting for him.
The bank was closed briefly during the investigation. The Medford Police is working along with the FBI to solve this robbery. Also see attached photo of suspect.
