Dear Billy T and Somerville/Medford News Weekly Speakup Line,

Is it just me or is something strange about the Thursday May 19th Showcase of Learning at the Winter Hill School where “all are invited and where vaccines and masks are strongly recommended?”

And the Friday May 20th, the very next day, the 7th and 8th grade dance where only fully vaccinated students will be able to attend. Students who are fully vaccinated TWO WEEKS after receiving the SECOND dose of the vaccine.

What’s wrong with this picture? A crowd of people can be in that room on the 19th with the students but on the 20th they can’t have a dance together without the strictest vaccine rules?

Now look at the May 19th activity.
Then look at the May 20th activity.

Does that makes any sense? Also sounds like they’re bribing kids into getting vaccinated? Just asking for a friend!
