Dear Billy T and Somerville/Medford News Weekly Speakup Line,
Attached photos will show a large area of snow left by the plow that my elder neighbor was forced to remove in order to get his car out of the driveway. The one below shows 2 young women pushing snow to the sidewalk.
The owner of the black pick up argued with me and my neighbor over where he was suppose to put the snow. My issue is that the city is not enforcing parking restrictions as the following: In the photo below you will see 3 parked cars between the intersection and neighbors driveway. What happened to the “14 feet of intersection space left for turning cars”? I got a ticket years ago for it and it was 14 feet I had left. Now the city is running out of space by building too many condos so we have to live in such an over crowded city, again they leave us to deal with this crap! If I wasn’t worried about the plow mowing my car down while parked in front of my house…(have you seen the unskilled plow drivers the past few years?)…..I would take up the spaces and leave my driveway empty just to prevent ignorant tenants and strangers from moving their piling snow on their vehicles onto my sidewalk! When you ask them to find another place for the snow, like between cars or across the street (odd side)….they get insulted. The photo below shows my neighbor asking the guy with the black pick up to move the snow from his truck to the other side of the street where the plow should have placed most of the snow. I conclude this— we are no longer a city of order only chaos and we are all on our own! No more constituency services. It’s only a bunch of self serving aspiring politicians who actually believe they are the greatest minds on the planet. I’ve got news for them— they are tools just like that dope we have thinking he can become governor. That is when you will see this place turn into a ghost town. With million dollar +condos falling apart all over the city, new owners have zero recourse……if I didn’t know them and like them, I would spill it all out here to all to see, trust me —-for the pain they have inflicted on my friends and myself since they sabotaged my career, there is nothing more I would like to do then see them all standing in a soup line. Enough is Enough!
