Letter from the Editor:Somerville Mayor, School Superintendent Cross the Line

By William Tauro

Early this morning I met with a group of Somerville school parents at a Dunkin Donuts in Somerville for a meeting that they had set up with me to express their concerns about the Somerville School Department.

They were appalled that their 12-year-old 6th graders from the Somerville Kennedy School that’s located on Elm Street in Somerville we’re told by their teacher to download their homework assignment handout sheets from their remote learning computers.

I strongly believe now more than ever that Joe gotta go and take Somerville School Superintendent Mary Skipper with him!

Attached is the 6th grader’s student’s homework assignment/Handout sheets and you be your own judge if would you want your 12-year-older to study this? Nothing like brainwashing young children! Your thoughts?

“Time for change in Somerville”

Just make sure people come out and vote November 2021 because if they want change, I will make sure it changes! #TEAMTAUROforMAYOR2021

  1. If I were a parent with children going to the Kennedy School, I would be joining the parents who expose this insanity. First of all, the 12 year olds are not old enough to answer some of these questions, most of us responsible parents would hope.

Total outrage and why some of our youth have zero boundaries and joining antifa.

  2. I’d say those generalizations are largely accurate. Only thing I’d fault them on is not making it clearer that they’re generalizations.
