regretfully we are canceling the last two weeks of practices for the season.

The Somerville rink is implementing a policy going forward where only players and their coaches will be allowed in the rink.

Given this new policy we have decided to cancel practices for the rest of this season. Player evaluations have also been postponed to a later date (TBD). We’ll let you know when we have identified a new set of dates.

Finally, it’s our understanding the remaining Valley League games and playoffs will continue as scheduled. Coaches and players should not share water bottles during games! Bring your own water please.

We’re not aware of the policy at other rinks but if your game is at the Somerville rink on Saturday you will have to adhere to the policy outlined above. Only your player will be allowed in the rink. No exceptions.

Thank you for your understanding upon hearing this news. We’re disappointed the practice season has to end this way but we made this decision with an abundance of caution in mind.
