On Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at 10:40 P.M., while traveling on Medford Street, a public way in the city of Somerville, I observed a white Chevy pickup bearing Massachusetts registration XXXX cross the double yellow line and drive on the opposite lane from Pearl Street to School Street.

I activated my emergency equipment and stopped the vehicle near the intersection of School Street and Richdale Avenue. I approached the operator, requested her license and registration and informed her of the reason of the stop.

The operator, later identified as XXXX handed me her passport and stated that she did not have a valid license. I issued XXXX citation# T1315151 for unlicensed operation of MV c.90 S10, marked lane violation c.89 S4A, and failure to wear seat belt c.90 S13A, and issued citation# T1315150 to German CUAPA (passenger) and placed him under arrest for three outstanding warrants.

A licensed operator took control of the vehicle.
