Meet this week’s “Special Person of the Week:John Welch
John Welch, big in stature and even bigger and heart.
He is a religious and family-centered man within extraordinary work ethic. There is nothing that John wouldn’t do for his family.
He treated the Winter Hill staff and students like his extended family and always did what he thought was best for the kids.
It was a pleasure working with John. We wish him nothing but the best!

Had the pleasure of working with John and retiring with John, he is a true inspiration to everyone. I will miss being greeted each morning with a huge smile. I wish him all the best.
I have had the pleasure of knowing John and his family for several years, and can honestly say that you couldn’t meet a better person. John is kind, caring, honest, and makes me laugh with his many stories. Watching our sons play baseball while enjoying a cigar is one of the highlights of my day. Congratulations, John on a well-deserved honor.
I had Mr. Welch as a third grade teacher over 30 years ago at the Winter Hill School. He always took the time to help me and really cared about his students. Your a great man Mr. Welch! Tonya Crewe
