Somerville COA Seniors News Updates 


As part of our ongoing series for Older Americans Month, we caught up with Pina Mingace, a volunteer with the Somerville Council on Aging. She’s pointing to a painting at our office that she fell in love with. “People try to get me to play bingo,” she said. “But I’m a creative person. I need to be artistic!” Pina’s next adventure will be teaching an Italian language class at the Senior Center. #OAM17 #AgeOutLoud

The Council on Aging wants you! – The SCOA is supporting D.A. Marian Ryan’s Project C.A.R.E. and Project Linus. Helping children of trauma have some comfort in their time of need by providing them with homemade blankets. Help us reach our goal of 200 blankets. Knitted, crochet or handmade fleece accepted.
